The Converse County Republican Party State Central
Committee is expecting a vacancy in the Converse County Clerk of District Court on April 1st, 2026
Notice of Potential Selection meeting to select a list of three (3) people qualified to fill the vacancy.
In accordance with state law and procedures of the Wyoming Republican Party, the Chairman of the Converse County Republican Party has called a potential meeting of the Precinct Committeemen and Committeewomen residing in Converse County to select three (3) persons qualified to fill the potentially vacated office for Clerk of District Court.
The candidate selection meeting will be potentially held on Tuesday April
7, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Eastern Wyoming College in Douglas, Wy 800 South Wind River Drive Douglas, Wyoming. By law, the list of three (3) candidates will then be forwarded to the Wyoming Republican Party State Central Committee and then, in turn, to the Boards of County Commissioners of Converse County for appointment of one (1) of the three (3) to fill the vacancy.

You can include a resume, but please limit the application packet to three pages.
The Central Committee will review the applications, and you will have 3 minutes to tell us about yourself and your application. There will be a short question and answer period about the duties of the Clerk of District of Court and Republican Party Values.
